The Gmail integration syncs your email threads with customer accounts. Conversations appear in the activity timeline alongside meetings, tasks, and notes — no tab-switching required.

Connect

Go to Settings → Integrations, click Add Integration, select Gmail, and then click Connect Gmail. Zudo redirects you to Google so you can sign in with the Gmail account you use for customer communication.

What syncs

  • Email threads — linked to customer accounts and shown in the activity timeline
  • Timestamps — send and receive times for every message
  • Sender and recipient — who sent and received each message

How emails feed health scoring

Email response time is one of the five health score factors. Zudo measures how quickly your team replies to inbound customer emails, counting only hours within your configured business hours.

How Zudo matches emails to accounts

Zudo uses your organization’s email domains (configured in Settings) to determine direction — emails from domains outside your org are treated as inbound customer messages. This is how response time is calculated and threads are attributed to the right accounts.
Make sure your company domains are set correctly in Settings so Zudo can distinguish customer emails from internal ones.
