Ask AI answers a question about one account, written the way you’d ask a colleague: “What did they say about pricing?”, “When do they renew?”, “Is anything still open from the export bug?”. It reads the account’s record and searches its history, then writes a short answer that cites the emails, meetings, notes, requests and issues it used.

Where to find it

Open an account, choose the Search tab in its sidebar, and switch from Search to Ask AI. Type your question and press the arrow, or pick one of the suggested questions. Each number in the answer marks the record it came from, and the Sources under the answer open the meetings, requests and Linear issues it cites.

What it reads

The account record, on every question, so questions about where the account stands are answered even when no message mentions them:
  • lifecycle status in your organization’s own words, and the key dates your lifecycle settings use, such as the renewal or trial end, with how far away they are
  • health score, MRR and the account’s CSM
  • open requests, with any linked Linear issue and its state
  • active flags, not ones marked addressed or snoozed
  • how long since the customer last wrote, and since your team did
  • the last meeting, and the next one if one is booked
The account’s history, searched for the words that matter in your question rather than the whole sentence, so “What did they say about the SSO rollout?” searches for SSO and rollout. Records matching more of those words come first. Put a phrase in quotes to search for it whole. The latest conversations are always included too, so “What’s the latest with them?” has something to go on. Every message it cites says who wrote it: your team, the customer, or unknown. This holds for Slack messages too, which carry no email address. For a parent account, it reads every account inside it.

Good to know

  • Answers come only from what Zudo has on the account. If neither the record nor the history answers the question, it says so.
  • Dates are in your own timezone.
  • Ask AI is available through the API and MCP as ask_account_question (POST /api/v1/search/ai-chat).
