# Profile

> Edit your profile, set your timezone, and generate an email forwarding address.

Go to your profile by clicking your avatar in the app. Here you can update personal settings that affect how Zudo displays data and how emails are logged.

## Profile fields

| Field | How it's saved |
| ------------------------------ | --------------------------------------- |
| **First name** / **Last name** | Click to edit inline |
| **Bio** | Free text |
| **Profile image** | Click your avatar to upload a new photo |

## Timezone

Select your timezone from the dropdown. All dates and times throughout the app — dashboard stats, email timestamps, meeting times, relative dates — are displayed in your selected timezone.

If no timezone is set, Zudo uses your browser's timezone. Falls back to UTC if neither is available.

## Email forwarding address

Generate a unique address in the format `{prefix}@inbound.zudo.so`. Use it to BCC or forward emails into Zudo — they'll be logged automatically and matched to the corresponding account based on contact email addresses.

1. Click **Generate Forwarding Address** (only needed once).
2. Copy the address and add it as a BCC in your email client, or set up a forwarding rule.

The address is permanent and unique to your account.

## Notifications

Choose which automated emails you want to receive. Your organization admin can also disable any of these org-wide — when an org-wide toggle is off, no one in the org receives that email regardless of their personal setting.

| Toggle | Controls |
| -------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Daily summary emails** | Daily portfolio summary (alerts, requests, tasks, meetings) |
| **Weekly summary emails** | Weekly version of the same summary |
| **Daily follow-up digest** | Daily account-prioritization digest from [Daily Follow-Up](/ai/daily-follow-up) |

If any account is assigned to you as CSM, your summaries are scoped to those accounts. If you aren't a CSM on any account, you get the org-wide view.

### Daily follow-up noise level

Override the org-wide digest sensitivity for your personal copy of the daily follow-up email.

| Option | Effect |
| ------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Use org default** | Use whatever the admin configured |
| **Important only** | Email only **Owe Them Something** and **Bring Them News** lanes |
| **Standard** | Email all three lanes including **Stay Close** |
| **Comprehensive** | Same as Standard with the broadest inclusion |

## Email Rendering

Controls how email threads are displayed inside Zudo (account pages, conversation views).

| Option | Effect |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Gmail cleaned** | Show the email exactly as Gmail rendered it. Includes signatures, quoted reply history, and inline images. |
| **Zudo cleaned** | Zudo additionally strips quoted replies, signature blocks, Outlook reply blocks, and inline images so you only see new content. |

This setting only affects in-app rendering. Outbound notification emails are unaffected.

## Account statistics

The profile page shows your member-since date, last sign-in, and last profile update — all displayed in your configured timezone.
